This year, the 19th ABKF Iaido Championships took place on May 15th in Havré. It was a wonderful day with great shiai.

A bōnenkai (忘年会) literally “forget the year gathering” is a Japanese drinking party that takes place at the end of the year. This year the Brussels Yaegaki Kai gathered at Japanese restaurant – Senraku – to celebrate a tremendous 2015 year, full of hard keiko and every day dedication of everybody in the dojo. 2015 is not yet finished and the ABKF Winter seminar is ahead but now was a good time to relax and celebrate. The dinner was great with good food and nice drinks (Beer/Shōchū 焼酎/Nihonshu 日本酒) 🙂

It is with great pleasure and pride that we would like to announce you that Philippe Bruwier sensei successfully passed his 7th Dan examination at the EIC 2015 in Berlin, Germany. Big congratulations 🙂 The party is gonna be HUGE !!!
